Zinni is a solutions business consultant and social entrepreneur who is passionate about the empowerment of women and entrepreneurs in general. She studied B.Com (Accounting) and later obtained her Certification in Prince 2 methodology (Project Management). She is currently completing her accreditation through the Chartered Institute for Management Accountants (CIMA).
Zinni has worked for organizations within the ICT and Science Industries such as: Dimension Data (Pty) Ltd, State Information Technology Agency (SITA) and Council for Geoscience (CGS) in the projects and human resources. She has over ten (10) years’ experience in these fields. Her accomplishments over the years include:
► SITA: reduced government’s debt from R15mil to R3mil as part of the Client Management Service. In addition, she created a business process for sustainability purposes.
► CGS: facilitated the success financial management of Geophysics Projects
► Dimension Data: was training and administering projects in the HR Department. She then advanced to the project management office and successfully assigned advanced infrastructure projects to project managers from start to completion.
Inspired by her love of drawing she started a brand called Zinni Designs; a fashion brand which began operating in 2012. It is currently based in Gauteng. Zinni developed a keen interest in entrepreneurship from her experiences as a business owner and exposure to the challenges such businesses face.
Zinni’s visionary outlook and experience as a professional tasked with creating solutions in corporate environments has influenced her views on optimal corporate systems and structures. This lead to the vision of the APB network.
Zingi is a B. Com (Finance) qualified professional who has over 7 years’ experience as a Corporate Finance expert. Her speciality is financial modelling and investment advisory for Infrastructure and Capital Projects. She also does valuations for M&A transactions. Zingi has worked for companies such as Discovery, Transnet, Diageo and Deloitte.
She has performed the financial modelling on major infrastructure projects such as:
► Smart metering for Eskom
► Options analysis model for Nelson Mandela Bay PPP Feasibility
► DBSA’s IDD Operating model financing options and working capital management
► Reengineering of Durban’s Container Terminal
Zingi’s passion for social entrepreneurship and participating in effective social change in her community led her to complete a qualification as a life coach and workshop facilitator through The Empowerment Institute in New York.
She has an ardent interest in business and has always aspired to be an entrepreneur. She currently hosts workshops to upskill young professionals and business owners in Microsoft Excel through her company Inani Solutions.
She has recently been appointed as a board member of an NPO called Nkatutho Edu Propeller. Nkatutho aims to bridge the gap in science and maths studies amongst black learners in the country. This is done through workshops and regular science expos in township schools.
Zingi brings her expertise of developing business models for organisation that enable them to operate efficiently and effectively. She is an expert in financing principles and creating operational and funding frameworks to businesses in order for them to succeed.
Makibinyane is young entrepreneur a detail oriented professional offering vast experience in entrepreneurship, business development, business planning, leadership, marketing, brand management, communications and business analysis.
He has successfully launched multiple businesses including jobsonline.co.ls which was the first online job portal in Lesotho in 2009. He did this while studying for his B. Com Marketing Management degree at the University of Johannesburg. Upon completion of his degree. Makibinyane worked as a marketing assistant at Twiga Services and Logistics. In this role he oversaw military vehicle refurbishment programmes in East Africa.
Makibinyane then joined Motebong Tourism and Investments working as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman until 2014 when he co-founded Tshokoma Enterprises. An events management and marketing company with a focus on providing a platform for aspiring professionals in the creative industries.
Tshokoma Enterprise spearheaded Tshwane’s inner city rejuvenation project and helped drive people back into the city centre as part of the Municipalities broader strategy to develop the area. Makibinyane is a visionary with expertise in communication, project planning and management.
Makibinyane was named one of the top 30 young entrepreneurs b the Tshwane Economic Development Agency in 2016.
He is passionate about the possibility of a united Africa and this has inspired him to study social Entrepreneurship at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). Makibinyane is well versed on African socio-political issues particularly Southern Africa.
